Budget
What it costs
Typical kit range
$20,000 to $60,000+
Insulation, taller walls, and larger doors are the three items that move a workshop budget the most.
Good to know
- Engineering services and stamped plans are available for an additional fee. Site specific permitting plans start at $2,775 per job.
- Concrete slabs are not part of the kit. Tell your sales rep if you are pouring a slab so the plans match.
- Delivery normally arrives by semi with a 53 foot trailer and a Moffett forklift, so the site needs room for that truck. Straight truck delivery is available by request at additional cost.
FAQ
Questions about this building type
Can the kit be insulated?
Yes. Insulation packages are quoted with the kit so the wall and roof assemblies are specified together.
What wall height do I need for a lift?
Most two post lifts want 12 to 14 foot walls. Confirm the clearance your specific lift requires before you finalize the design.
Do you provide stamped plans?
Engineering services and stamped plans are available for an additional fee, and many localities require them for permits.
