The actual thickness difference between typical 28 and 29 gauge panels is extremely small, about 0.0005 inch, barely the thickness of a sheet of paper. Steel grade, protective coating, paint system, and panel profile have a far greater impact on weather resistance and service life. Our standard panels are premium 29 gauge steel with a minimum Grade 80 yield strength, an AZ50 Galvalume coating, and a CERAM-A-STAR paint system backed by a 40 year paint warranty. 26 gauge is available for customers who want a heavier panel.

Yes. Every building package comes with a detailed materials list at contract, and your written quote lists exactly what ships, down to the trim and fasteners.

Yes. Kits can include CHI overhead doors and Pella vinyl windows, or you can source them locally with your own installer. The plans are drawn either way so the openings are framed correctly.

Most kits ship in approximately three weeks from the time your order is placed when engineered drawings are not required. However, delivery timelines can vary depending on the design, size and type of trusses, whether engineered drawings are required, material availability, and current production schedules. Truss manufacturing schedules can have a significant impact on the overall timeframe, particularly during busy times of the year. Your Building Specialist will provide an estimated schedule with your quote and keep you informed of any factors that may affect the expected ship date.

Normally by semi with a 53 foot trailer and a Moffett forklift, so the site needs room for that truck. Straight truck delivery is available by request at additional cost.

Heritage supplies the kit. In Central Virginia and surrounding areas we can refer you to Fundamental Builders at 540-234-8026. Fundamental Builders is an independent contractor, not a Heritage crew. Pricing and scheduling are arranged directly with them. We also support customers who build it themselves.

No. Heritage supplies the building kit. Electrical, plumbing, septic, HVAC, and climate control are handled by licensed local professionals after the shell is up.

Yes. Many customers frame an office or bathroom inside the building. The kit does not include the plumbing, fixtures, or interior finish, so plan that work with local trades and tell your specialist so the layout allows for it.

Living quarters are a zoning and code question in your locality, not a kit question. Check with your county first, since residential use usually changes the permitting and engineering requirements.

Many customers use a construction loan or an owner builder loan through their own bank, and project budgets commonly run from about $20,000 to $120,000 or more depending on size and finish. Ask your specialist when you request your estimate.
