Lumber & Framing Materials

Quality lumber. Quality fasteners. No surprises.

Our standard building packages already include high-quality materials: premium lumber grades, typically #1 or #2 depending on the application, quality fasteners and building components, and durable 29-gauge steel panels.

What the framing does

Purlins run across the top of the trusses and give the roof panels something to fasten to, spaced for the load your area requires. Girts run horizontally across the columns and support the wall panels. They also give you fastening points for interior finishes later.

We only use the best lumber for the application, with grades typically #1 or #2, so the structure behind your steel matches the quality of the steel itself.

Assembly Drawings & Material List

Once your package has been finalized, assembly drawings and a material list will be emailed to you prior to shipment. These documents are designed to help you familiarize yourself with the materials included in your package, understand where the components are used, and see how the building is assembled. An exact packing list will also accompany the shipment with the driver, allowing you to check off the materials as they are unloaded and verify that everything has arrived.

Upgrades

If desired, you can upgrade to 26-gauge metal roofing or add decorative and functional features such as cupolas and specialty trim packages. We will help you select the options that best fit your building, budget, and goals.
